Do you know someone who has given up on God? Maybe they became discouraged waiting on a breakthrough? Maybe they just couldn’t see how God was going to deliver them?

And now let me ask you this, what are you believing for that seems impossible?

Let me encourage you to refuse to give up! Keep your faith high and expect God to do the extraordinary! Your impossible situation doesn’t intimidate God one bit. In fact, God enjoys demonstrating His miracle-power on your behalf!

The Message Bible says in Job 5:9, that God is “Famous for great and unexpected acts, there’s no end to His surprises.”

Would you agree that our God is indeed great in power and wonderful in working? There is no other god that can do what our God can do! 1 Chronicles 17:20 describes God saying, “O Lord, there is none like thee…”

Look at what the psalmist declared about the greatness of our God, Psalm 86:8 Amplified Bible says, “There is no one like You among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works [of wonder and majesty] like Yours.”

No one and nothing compares to our God! His works are too vast and they are too boundless for us to grasp. It’s simply not possible for us to comprehend within our natural minds all that He is capable of doing.

Nothing is impossible with our God! And that very truth should keep you from ever losing confidence in His ability to do whatever you’re believing for Him to do.

No matter how impossible it may look…DON’T EVER GIVE UP ON GOD!

Always remember that you haven’t seen all that He can do. Keep an open mind and a heart full of anticipation of Him doing something new. Don’t limit Him to what you’ve seen or how He’s done things in the past.

Isaiah 42:9 tells us, “Behold, the former things have come to pass and new things I declare…”

God is not limited to doing things the way they have been done before. He can do miracles in ways of which you would never think. Our God is the God of new things! What men say “has never been done”, our God can make it happen. What men say is “impossible,” is not impossible with our God.

Again, remember what Job 5:9 says… God is “Famous for great and unexpected acts, there’s no end to His surprises.”

Isn’t that a great Scripture? God is famous for great and unexpected acts!

To be famous for something, it means you’ve done a lot of it. Certain people are famous for certain things. Mickey Mantle was famous for knocking home runs. Muhammad Ali was famous for his boxing skills.

People are famous because they excel in what they do. They do it better than anyone else.

Our God is famous for doing great and unexpected acts! He is famous for doing the impossible. He is famous for miraculous breakthroughs!

Don’t limit God! Take the limits off and start stretching your faith for God to surprise you.

Don’t be like Naaman in 2 Kings chapter 5, the leper who thought he had figured out how God would heal him. He was limiting God because he could only imagine God healing him one way. God told the Prophet Elisha to do it in a way that Naaman wasn’t expecting and because it wasn’t in a way that he thought it would happen, he almost missed out on his miracle.

Just let God be God! Paul encouraged the believers in Corinth writing, “All you need to remember is that God will never let you down, He’ll never let you be pushed past your limit, He’ll always be there to help you come through it” (1 Corinthians 10:13 Message).

Paul goes on to say in verse 14, “When you see people reducing God to something they can control, get out of their company, as fast as you can.”

Don’t let others who are in the habit of limiting God, influence you!

God has more ways to give you the breakthroughs you desire than you could dream up in a thousand years. I like what Romans 9:20 says in the NIV, “But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, why did You make me like this?”

God is saying, “I’m still smarter than you and I’ve got it all worked out, so just let Me be God and you just dare to trust Me!”

Do you want your 2019 to be filled with marvels, wonders, and extraordinary manifestations of the greatness of your God? Then just remember, “He’s famous for great and unexpected acts and there’s no end to His surprises.”

Have you been having a difficult time shutting your mind down from thinking about how God is going to turn your situation around? The Holy Spirit instructed me to pray for you.

Pray this with me, “Lord, I thank you for marvels, wonders, and extraordinary manifestations of your greatness. Father, in the name of Jesus, we believe you still do great and unexpected acts. We come to you in faith and ask you to transform this situation and turn it around. You are working behind the scenes right now to bring a breakthrough. Lord, do what you do best! Thank you, Father, in the name of Jesus!”

If you prayed that prayer and meant it in your heart, I’m expecting God to move in marvelous ways in your life. I’ve seen God do the miraculous many times. He is famous for it!
