How to have Stability in Unstable Times

I have a word from the Lord today that is going to cause your faith to be inspired. Even though our world has been shaken by COVID-19, our God is a firm foundation, and our lives are built on the Word of God.

None of the setbacks or obstacles you’re facing can stop God’s plan and destiny for you. This is still your year to experience supernatural increase. There is victory and breakthrough heading your way.

I pray for you to remain strong in the Lord and look to Him as your source of healing, finances, and peace. If you make the quality decision to place God’s Word as the highest authority in your life, you will stand strong in the face of uncertainty.

I speak life over you and your family. I speak strength to your immune system and that you will not succumb to the pressures and symptoms in our world today.

A Word from The Holy Spirit
Do not fret and do not fear
I still plan to give you a supernatural year
It’s not over and you will not fail
Didn’t I tell you that the gates of hell shall not prevail
Rest in Me and I’ll see you through
And I’ll bring to pass all that I said I would do
So thank your Father in Heaven that you have a choice
You can choose to fear or you can choose to rejoice
So rejoice and do not cease
This is how you tap into My supernatural peace

As believers, we do not ignore the hardships and troubles that we face. Jesus said you would face troubles. I don’t stick my head in the sand and pretend that nothing in wrong. There are people hurting and people really suffering.

I’m encouraged that Jesus also said He has overcome the world! That means you are victorious. The outcome has already been determined. When the dust settles, you win!

Refuse to be shaken during hard times. You can develop the same determination displayed by the apostle Paul. He said, “Now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. But none of these things move me…” Acts 20:22-24 (NKJV)

In other words, Paul is saying, “I’m going to keep on doing what I know to do, and I’m going to keep on trusting God as I do it.”

Circumstances didn’t have any effect on what he believed or how he behaved! He had no intentions of changing his lifestyle of faith! He went on to say, “that I might finish my course with joy and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus…” (Acts 20:24)

Regardless of what is going on around you, you can rest assured that your destiny is in His hands!

Anybody can remain positive when everything is going as planned, but what is your attitude when the “bottom has fallen out?”  Sadly, many of God’s people today are “faith-people” until all trouble comes. Then they too often quit and turn their backs and let go of God’s Word.

That’s not who you are! When tragedy and trouble come, you will stand strong. You will continue to speak faith. You will trust God and see the promised victory!

Adversity has a way of showing what you’re really made of. In fact, James tells us, “You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors” (James 1:3 MSG).

Be determined to keep on believing and to keep on doing what the Word says no matter what comes your way!

Hebrews chapter 10:35 says, “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.” God is going to honor your faith! So, just make up your mind right now that you’re not going to give in nor give up.

Develop the steadfast, immovable faith described in Psalm 112:7-8 where the psalmist wrote, “He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; He will not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.”

Now this is how God expects you to respond to challenging times – Unshaken by circumstances, unending in trust, and bold in faith!

The very next verse the psalmist wrote gives you a vital key to your victory. It declares, “He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be exalted with honor.

Generosity is the mark of an established heart! His sowing never stopped, even when in the natural it looked as though he couldn’t afford to do it. The person who is established in faith and has an established heart will never stop sowing, and his God will never stop blessing.

The worst thing you could do right now is stop sowing. You may not be able to sow what you’re accustomed to sowing, but sow something. Keep tithing to your church. Keep giving to ministries and helping people in need.

My sowing has never stopped, and my income is not down. God is faithful! And God’s promise is that, “Wealth and riches will be in his house” (Psalm 112:3).

I want to give you the opportunity to sow right now. Not because I’m suffering financially, but because you need to get seed in the ground! Your generosity right now is the catalyst for your harvest of victory.

Never give out of compulsion or fear. Scripture tells us that God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7)! When you give out of a surrendered, generous heart, there is a joy that comes from knowing you are part of what God is doing in this world.

I know these times can be trying. That’s why I want you to have my recent encouraging message titled, Stability in Unstable Times. In this timely message, I confront the COVID-19 crisis and give you guidance from God’s Word on how you should respond moving forward.
