What is the most natural thing to do when you fall down? Notice I didn’t ask if you fall down? Falling can be pretty embarrassing. Have you ever fallen in public and quickly looked around to see if anyone noticed?
One time I was preaching on stage and lost my footing causing me to fall right inside the drummer’s bass drum! Talk about embarrassing! But guess what. I didn’t stay down there very long. I got up quickly to finish my message.
What is one of the defining characteristics of a godly person? According to Proverbs 24:16, “The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.”
God instructed me to tell you: Arise, the Glory of God is coming upon you!
Refuse to be discouraged any longer. Don’t ever give up. Don’t ever quit. God’s glory is being poured out on your life like never before!
What’s been trying to keep you down? How long have you struggled? It’s time for you to arise! When you fall, the most natural thing to do is get back up.
Take hold of what the prophet Isaiah declares saying, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1-2) The Amplified Bible says, “Arise from spiritual depression to a new life, be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord…”
It’s time for you to arise out of depression and to get ready for the glory of God to be seen on you!
Maybe you can relate to the people of Israel during Isaiah’s time. In the Book of Isaiah, he describes the nation of Israel as a people thrown to the earth and having become a shackled captive. But God was telling them that it’s time to arise – it’s time to experience new life – it’s time to experience His glory on, and in their lives.
God is saying the same thing to YOU today! It’s time for YOU to experience the new life God has for you – it’s time for YOU to see the manifested glory of God in your life!
God never intended for you to be in captivity, nor bondage, nor depression. Jesus came to set you totally free. Allow the words of Galatians 5:1 from the MESSAGE translation to build your faith – “Take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you.”
You’re not bound to your past! You’re not bound to your failures! You’re not bound to your income or what others say about you. Jesus paid the price to set you free!
Because of Jesus, you’re entitled to NEW LIFE – the ABUNDANT LIFE! (John 10:10)
But you can only begin to enjoy this kind of life when you make the quality decision to ARISE out of everything that has been holding you down.
Did you know that the word arise appears 253 times in the Bible? That’s amazing to me. It seems that God is always encouraging His people to get back up!
In the Book of Joshua, we read that after Moses had died the people wanted to just sit back and do nothing about getting to the Promised Land as God had told them. Finally, God says to them, “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.” (Joshua 1:2)
You can’t expect to have God’s best if you’re just going to sit around complaining and feeling sorry for yourself.
It’s time for you to get up and to get going! God wants to show you His glory but it’s not likely to happen if you just stay down and give up.
One of my favorite verses to declare when I hit a setback is Micah 7:8 which says, “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy, when I fall, I shall arise…”
I said it at the beginning of this letter and I’ll say it again, the most natural thing for you to do when you fall is to ARISE! If the devil knocks you down seven times, all you have to do to beat him is to get up eight times!
God is ready to show you His glory. His presence, His power, and His goodness, is waiting for you to take your stand. Get up and go for it!
Don’t miss out on this prophetic word or what God desires to do in your life.
When you give this month, give as an action of faith. As you give in faith, you’re activating the same grace and favor that’s on my life to operate in your life. The apostle Paul wrote to his financial partners and said they are partakers in the same grace on his life. (Philippians 1:7)
This month, as you give, I want to continue to strengthen your faith by sending you my recent message titled, It’s Time For You To Arise. This is an anointed message and I know it will encourage you.
You can give securely at www.jsmiaustralia.org/offering.
It’s time for you to experience the freedom and victory Jesus paid for. It’s time for you to arise! I’m linking my faith with yours declaring, “Arise, the glory of God is upon you!”
P.S. Don’t grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap, if you do not give in. (Galatians 6:9) As you stay connected to this ministry, I pray that you stay encouraged as I teach you to become the winner God called you to be. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
