Would you be surprised if I tell you we are living in a time of great economic turmoil? Probably not. Many people are facing financial hardships. Nearly every day there are news reports of companies closing, workers being laid off, and even entire countries going bankrupt.
It may be true that there is financial turmoil all around you, BUT God has something better in store for you! I’m writing to tell you that your days of lack are coming to an end!
I’m about to give you THE greatest key to your financial victory!
The Lord has given me a prophetic word for this year, and part of it is: “More and more finances will be breaking loose for the faithful!”
As I was meditating on this and praying over it, the Lord said to me, “This includes the promise that I made to those who are faithful tithers. The windows of Heaven will open for them as never before and a great breaking loose will occur which will cause a flood of finances to come into their hands beyond anything they have ever imagined!”
When the Lord said “windows of heaven” it took me straight to Malachi 3:10 which declares, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”
The Message Translation says, “See if I don’t open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams.”
Are you ready for that? Think of all the people you could help, ministries you could support, and opportunities you could pursue.
Let’s remember now, this is addressed to faithful tithers.
Let me emphasize that “faithful” is the key word here. “Faithful” implies being constant or consistent. One dictionary defined it as a “strict adherence.” “Strict adherence” means no consistent. One dictionary defined it as a “strict adherence.” “Strict adherence” mean deviating or compromising. It speaks of true fidelity and loyalty to the Word of God.
Maybe you’re thinking, “That sounds hard. I don’t know if I can do that.” Yes you can, but it will require a quality decision on your part. It will require unrelenting determination.
Satan will do everything he possibly can to talk you out of this, and believe me, he can come up with some really good excuses as to why you can’t be a faithful tither.
But just remember, Satan’s excuses come in the form of thoughts, and the Bible says that if they don’t line up with the Word then you have a responsibility to cast them down (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Don’t let Satan’s excuses keep you from faithfully honoring God with your tithes.
The “windows of heaven” represent an outflow of God’s blessings showering you in every part of your life. It’s God responding to our obedience to His Word. Why would anyone want to close those windows in their life? That really doesn’t make sense.
Someone once said: “Church members who do not tithe don’t lose their membership in the Body of Christ, however, they do lose massive blessings.”
Tithing is a principle that is fundamental to the personal happiness and financial well-being of God’s people. God didn’t establish it in order to have a way to take from us; He established it in order to have a way to supernaturally bless us!
We should never look at tithing as a sacrifice but rather a privilege. Look at it as a way for you to give back to God in honor of all the goodness He has poured out on you. Then He just keeps showing you more and more until you’re not able to contain it all!
Look at Malachi 3:10 again. God says when we are faithful tithers He will, “…pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” The Literal Translation says, “… empty out to you, holding back nothing, giving to you fully.”
In the New Testament, Paul expounded on this saying that God desires to bless us, “…exceeding abundantly above all, beyond all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20). Lamsa Translation says “…until you shall surely shout, ‘It’s enough!’”
Are you there yet? No? Then God is not finished! He wants to overflow your capacity to receive. God is telling us that He has more in reserve for us than we could possibly imagine even in our wildest dreams.
The Holy Spirit has told us it is: THE YEAR OF THE GREAT BREAKING LOOSE AND THE FAITHFUL SHALL BE REWARDED BEYOND THEIR HIGHEST EXPECTATIONS AND THEY SHALL ABOUND IN GOD’S BLESSINGS AS NEVER BEFORE!
I encourage you to hold fast to this word and dare to believe that this is your time for financial breakthroughs like never before! It’s your year for THE GREAT BREAKING LOOSE!

And now I stand on Your Word for me and I’m expecting the windows of heaven to open unto me and a
great breaking loose of financial blessings to come my way to the point that I’m not able to contain it all, in Jesus’ name, amen!
