As the hour of His crucifixion approached, Jesus made this promise to His disciples: And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. (John 14:16 NKJV)
That Helper was the Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of God now residing in every born-again believer who has made Jesus Lord and Savior.
